The memorial, realized together with Sam Vanni, a well-known Finnish-Jewish artist, is located in the courtyard of the Helsinki Jewish congregation. The memorial comprises a stone slab whose impressions and bulges refer to people's striving to leave a mark of their fight. The slab's shape slopes increasingly towards its edges, creating a sense of continuity. A text in Hebrew is inscribed underneath the granite slab. The work was erected in 1970.
