The sculpture consists of stylized human figures. A small child is swinging on the arms of two bigger figures, which lean back, lending the sculpture an extremely dynamic atmosphere. The distortion of the human figures goes back to the experiments with expression carried out by artists such as Alberto Giacometti and Constantin Brancusi. More than anything else, however, expressive sculpture is indebted to so called primitive art. 'The Game of the Young' was erected in 1959. Its material is bronze.
