Blue Moments is situated in the small street quarters between two residental buildings and designed in the same framework as the Vanhakaupunki seaside park and seafront view. The work belongs to a stone garden Ajatusten polku(Path of reflection) and the gates of Sininen pergola (Blue pergola). In the materials and colour of the work Veräjänkorva makes reference to, amongst others, ceramic artist Toini Muona to whom the street is named after. >The residential buildings are Teema houses designed by architect Kirsti Sivén.

Tiina Veräjankorva describes the work in the following way: "The blue colour reaches out to the sky and the sea and refers to the long ceramic history. Path of Reflection is an urban variant of the stone garden, in which ceramic elements can sit. The Blue pergola, planned together with the architect, comprises references such as garden fragments as cultivated constructions in the environment and the illusion of traces of people" .
