Helsinki City Buildings Office has commissioned Jukka Tuominen to produce a work for the new Kasarmintori. The piece, Silmä or Eye, is to be on the western side of Kasarmintori on the site of an earlier well. It consists of two concentric steel discs, which will be inlayed into the coble stones of the Market Place. The outer steel disc mimics the market cobble stones while the inner disc is polished smooth like a mirror.
