The Hilapelto lower stage comprehensive school was the first school in Helsinki where one per cent of construction costs were used for acquiring art works. Antti Nordin's sculpture is a great climbing favourite of children. Despite its vague resemblance with giant building blocks, it fits perfectly in its surroundings. Its embedded humorousness derives from the paradox between the geometrically regular structure and the apparently careless sloping of the surfaces. The sculpture is made of steel and it was erected in 1990.
