In the beginning of the 19th century artists were typically trained in both the arts and architecture, of which Gunnar Finne is a prime example.
"Horses" is made from dark granite and depicts two stylized horses playing together. The work belongs to the Bäcksbacka collection donated to The City of Helsinki in the 1970's.
