Teuri Haarla's Father Earth / The nose, mouth and footprint of a giant is located at the Soininen elementary school in Pukinmäki. The school specialises in mathematics and the natural sciences, with pupils in the 6 – 13 age range. When architects Kaira-Lahdelma-Mahlamäki began designing the school building, Teuri Haarla was asked to suggest an artwork for the school.

Part of the 'Prosenttiraha' public art projects of the City of Helsinki, Haarla's work was completed at the same time as the school building. The giant's footprint is in the schoolyard, its mouth and nose on a wooded slope near the school. The slates and footprint in the courtyard are made of light Nilsiä and dark Orivesi slate. The nose and the mouth are sculpted from light granite from Ristijärvi.
