WALT DISNEY AND EUROPEAN ART
25.2. - 31.5.2009

The exhibition portrays the European roots of the animation movie classics such as Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (1937), Fantasia (1940) and The Jungle Book (1967). The exhibition draws parallels between the works of the artists at Walt Disney’s (1901–1966) Studios and the art of the most famous European masters.

The show has been curated by Bruno Girveau, and it is based on the exhibition shown in Paris and Montreal 2006–2007, produced by RMN and Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
